A heavily drunk man in Madhya Pradesh, identified as Jalim Singh Kushwaha, reportedly bit and killed a venomous snake which he found on his farm. He was brought to the district hospital in a state of unconsciousness and was discharged on February 24 after undergoing treatment. Dr. Yadav, who treated Mr.Kushwaha was quoted as saying, “It was venomous and if it had retaliated or if any portion of its venom had entered his bloodstream, it could have been fatal for Kushwaha.”
