It is a common practice in most cities for traffic cops to conduct routine checks on the road. In a similar incident from Bengaluru, a man was caught on camera attacking the policemen for stopping him over traffic rule violation.
The entire incident was caught on camera as the man can be seen brutally assaulting the cops with stones and clay utensils. One of the traffic constable was injured and seen bleeding profusely after the attack. The man identified as Rudrappa, was stopped by the cops for not wearing a helmet and for being allegedly drunk.
The man went on to attack a second cop and can be seen body-slamming him on the road. Eyewitnesses say that the man was stopped during routine checks and he got into a tiff with cops when they pointed out his traffic violations. Hearing this, the man apparently got angry and started assaulting them.
A case against been registered against the man and an investigation in the case is underway.
