Home > News Shots > IndiaAfter new evidences were found in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, which exposed the use of drugs, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) started their investigation. On Friday morning, a team of NCB officials raided the residences of those involved in the case.
The residence of Bollywood actor Rhea Chakraborty and the residence of Samuel Miranda who was Sushant Singh’s house manager, were raided earlier today. Further, Rhea’s brother Showik has also been summoned by the NCB, to question. Yesterday, two people, Basit Parihar and Zaid Vilatra from Mumbai who were in touch with Showik and Miranda were arrested by the NCB.
A detailed network analysis is to be conducted by the NCB. Further, the team searched Vilatra’s premises and found Rs.9,55,750 and several foreign currencies. US $ 2,081, 180 British Pound, 15 Dirham were yielded. The accused owned an eatery and he was not making money due to the lockdown. After questioning Vilatra, a NCB official said, “During his interrogation his links to Rhea case were found and its under investigation.”
Satish Maneshinde, Rhea’s lawyer said that Rhea had earlier stated that she has never used drugs. Further, her advocate added that she will not be commenting on the claims which are being made by the NCB.
Meanwhile, the CBI and ED are also investigating the case from several angles.
