WATCH: RETIRED HC JUDGE HARASSES DAUGHTER-IN-LAW FOR DOWRY, CCTV VIDEO IS OUT!

Back in April 2019, a 30-year-old woman, Sindhu Sharma filed a complaint at the Central Crime Station in Hyderabad that she was physically assaulted and harassed by her husband and in-laws for years seeking dowry. Sindhu got married to Vasista in 2012 and the couple has 2 daughters.

Shockingly, the woman's father-in-law was a retired High Court Judge Ram Mohan Rao, who served at Madras and Hyderabad High Courts. Almost 5 months after her complaint, the CCTV footage of the woman being physically assaulted by Ram Mohan Rao, his wife Durga Jayalakshmi and son Vasista has released.

Though a case had been registered against the alleged 3 persons under 4 different IPC sections, there were no arrests made. In one of the interviews to CNN-News 18, Sindhu claimed that her father-in-law was very influential and that she could not find an advocate for herself. Now the release of CCTV footage has turned the heads and had been widely circulated on social media.

In the video, we could the family apparently manhandling Sindhu who tries to hold back continuously.  There are also kids in the scene and at one point the younger child walks forward to hold Sindhu's leg. The 2 min 20-sec video has alarmed the civilians, especially women. Reportedly, Sindhu was admitted in a hospital on April 20 for allegedly getting thrashed by her in-laws and husband. Later medical reports also confirmed the nail marks on her chest and abrasions all over her body.
