The Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar has reportedly said that the government is unaware of the location of billionaire diamond merchant Nirav Modi. The Enforcement Directorate and the Central Bureau of Investigation have registered cases against Nirav Modi for the alleged fraud of about Rs 11,400 crore after the Punjab National Bank filed complaints. Meanwhile, the ED officials have also seized properties worth Rs 5,500 crore, belonging to Nirav Modi and associates, following raids.
