"DON'T BATH, DON'T WASH CLOTHES" SAYS UNIVERSITY

Universities are known for unbelievable and crazy rules. Currently, University of Mysore joined the list. The girls' hostel of the university has released a circular as a solution to the ongoing water crisis.

Girls in the hostel of the university have been asked to not use water for bathing or washing clothes! Yes, you read that right!

According to a TOI report, the situation went out of hand with the ridiculous circular and sparked a flash strike at the hostel seeking an immediate and lasting solution.

According to India Times, water is being supplied to hostel through tankers. The girls are standing in long queues to fetch water. And the circular made things even worse.

The college vice-chancellor told TOI that the college wells have dried up and it has nothing to do with the city's water problem. He also mentioned that the petition to extend a water line to the campus has been put on hold due to elections. He promised an early solution for the sudents' issue.
