Hours after being booked for sedition, over a tweet calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi a 'thief', Congress' social media chief Divya Spandana has reiterated her stand by calling PM Modi a 'thief' again.
Earlier, Divya Spandana was booked under Section 123-A of IPC and Section 67 of the Information Technology (Amendment) Act. An FIR was filed by lawyer Syed Rizwan Ahmed for tweeting an "utterly insulting" post against the Prime Minister.
Spandana's earlier tweet showed PM Modi painting the word 'chor' (thief) on the forehead of his own wax figure. The tweet was in connection with the Congress party's stand on the Rafale deal issue.

India should do away with the sedition law, it’s archaic and misused.
To the folks who filed the FIR- #PMChorHai 🤭😀
"To the folks who filed the FIR - #PMChorHai," Spandana said, while slamming the sedition law for being 'archaic'.
