WHY 'DISHA CASE' IS RELATED TO HYDERABAD VET DOCTOR'S MURDER?- REASON REVEALED

The accused men of Hyderabad Woman doctor's rape and murder were killed in an encounter in the early hours of Friday morning (December 6). The 4 accused men were Muhammad Baasha aka Arif, Jollu Shiva, Jollu Naveen and Chintakunta Chennakeshavulu. Reportedly the encounter happened in the same place where the crime was committed. Police said that they shot all the 4 as they tried to escape during the investigation at the crime spot.

All 4 men were arrested and convicted for meticulously planning the rape and murder of the 26-year old Hyderabad Woman Veterinary doctor on November 27 (Wednesday). After committing such a heinous crime, the accused men brutally burnt the body of the doctor at Shadnagar on the outskirts of Hyderabad and her body was recovered near a tunnel on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru National Highway.

Though the original name of the doctor was revealed earlier, the Telangana police came up with an alternative name called 'Disha Case'. Therefore, instead of using the victim's name, it is being widely called as 'Disha Case'. It has to be mentioned that the brutal rape and murder of Delhi woman on December 16, 2012, was termed as "Nirbhaya Case" instead of using her original name.
