According to reports, Bhojpuri film director Shad Kumar allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence at Mira Road. Shad had directed a number of Bhojpuri films including ' Ek Laila, Teen Chaila', 'Bhail Tohra Se Pyar', 'Tumhare Pyar Ki Kasam' which became huge hits. His new release 'Swarg' was to hit theatres on November 24. Police reports say that he had suffered huge losses and was unable to repay loans. A case has been registered at Naya Nagar Police Station and investigations are on.
