A delivery boy in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh was misled by a stranger and later two other people joined him before snatching his bag containing 30 parcels including 4 smartphones. The incident happened on Jain Mandir Road in Mangalwara.
Adish Sheikh (22) had gone to deliver a smartphone ordered by a person named HC Amit Shah. He reached the location and called the number of recipient Amit Shah who attended the call and told him to come near Mangalwara Police station. Amit Shah also claimed that he was working as a head constable in Mangalwara police station.
Once Sheikh reached near Mangalwara police station, Shah diverted him to Jain Mandir road since he has the cash in his home. The turn of events at Jain Mandir Road did not go well for Sheikh when two other persons joined Shah and attacked him. Finally, all the three snatched Shah's courier bag and ran away.
The Mangalwara Station House Officer (SHO) Sandeep Pawar has filed a loot case and he is investigating the case. Meanwhile, one of the accused was caught on CCTV. Further Sandeep Pawar clarified that there was no one called Amit Shah.
