The Supreme Court has reportedly told that courts should intensely implement the order to deliver judgments within one year for cases involving politicians. A PIL has been registered at the SC requesting that politicians with criminal backgrounds be banned from contesting in State and Parliamentary elections for lifetime and politicians have minimum educational qualifications to contest elections.
