BIG SHOCK TO 90'S KIDS! FAMOUS DD NEWS ANCHOR DIES

Kids of the 90's who grew up watching Doordarshan, are shocked to know that senior DD News anchor, Neelum Sharma passed away today (17th August 2019).
She had been associated with Doordarshan for over 2 decades. Reports say that, Neelum was battling cancer from years.
As per India TV reports, Neelum Sharma, was also awarded the Nari Shakti Puraskar in 2018 by the President of India. She started her career with DD in 1995 and went on to significantly contribute to the industry and inspire an entire generation of journalists.
Young or old people used to run to watch her renowned programmes like Badi Charcha, Tejasvini and many more.
Soon after news of her demise spread, scores of condolences started to pour in.
