DATA OF OVER 5 LAKH INDIANS BREACHED: FACEBOOK

In a response to Indian government’s notice seeking details of breach of Indian users’ data by Cambridge Analytica, Facebook has reportedly said that only 335 people in India installed the personality quiz app ‘thisisyourdigitallife’, says a report by Economic Times. The social media giant also reportedly added that the data breach potentially affected a total of 562,120 additional people in the country, who are friends of those who installed the App.
