According to reports, a Dalit man and his mother were allegedly thrashed by a group of people for skinning a dead cow in Gujarat. "Instead of the designated place, he started skinning it near the crematorium," police reports said. Though the man agreed to follow the rules the next time, the men attacked him and his mother, he added.
