In a shocking case from Haryana's Gurugram city, a couple has been arrested for allegedly dragging a traffic police officer on the bonnet of their car after they were asked to stop. They broke traffic rules and signal on Sohna Road which led the traffic police officer to stop their car.
Police claim that that the couple assaulted a police officer and two journalists in the fight after broke out when they were stopped.
As per Hindustan Times report, the incident took place at Vatika Chowk on Thursday around 9: 45 am when traffic police constable Sunil Kumar spotted a car jumping traffic signal.
After which the constable came in front of the car and signalled them to stop. The man in the car stopped his Honda City and gave control to the woman, in fraction of minutes she accelerated the car. As the woman accelerated the car, the constable jumped on the bonnet and hung on for nearly 45 metres," Hindustan Times further reported.
After stopping the car, the woman, started abusing the traffic constable and threatened to kill him if he ever stops their vehicle.
Meanwhile, two journalists from local new channel spotted this fight and one of them began to record it. The woman, who saw them making a video assaulted the journalist too.
Currently, an FIR has been registered against the couple and further investigations are on.
