COLLEGE MATES WRITE EXAM INSIDE HALL, STUDENT STEALS 13 CELLPHONES, LAPTOP

A first-year BCom student was arrested for stealing 13 cellphones and a laptop of his college mates while they were writing exams inside halls, says a Times of India report. The incident took place in Hadapsar near Pune. After receiving a tip-off that he was going to meet a prospective customer, police laid a trap and arrested him. During investigation, he revealed that he used to steal the bags when students leave it outside as they go inside examination halls. Police have recovered 13 cellphones and a laptop from him, while a case has been filed against him.
