TEENAGER CREATES FAKE TWITTER ACCOUNT OF DGP, DUPES POLICE

A Class X student from UP, created a fake Twitter account using the name of the UP Director General of Police Om Prakash Singh and duped the Gorakhpur police into taking action on his elder brother's complaint. After receiving orders to retrieve Rs 45,000 that was stolen from a man from a Twitter account with the DGP's name and photo, the Gorakhpur police immediately started taking action.
Reportedly, after Rs 30,000 was refunded, the police updated the DGP office who found out that no such order was ever given.The police tracked down the boy and his friends, but let them go with a warning.
