CENTRE TO BAN SELFIES IN DANGEROUS LOCATIONS

According to reports, the central government is planning to detect dangerous locations in tourist spots and ban taking selfies there. Reportedly, the Union minister of state for home affairs Hansraj Gangaram Ahir requested the state governments to identify no-selfie zones due to the high number of accidents caused while taking selfies.
The central government has reportedly asked the states to provide signs to warn tourists of accident prone areas and that taking selfies there could be dangerous.
