The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made taking exams more simpler for Class X students and will consider an overall pass percentage of 33% as passed. Earlier, students had to pass in each subject to move to the next level. However, according to reports, since this is the first year CBSE has made board exams compulsory for Class X students after a seven-year gap, the new rule will be applicable only for this year and will not be in place from 2019.
