CBSE DECLARES CLASS 10 RESULTS; CHENNAI SCORES 99% COMES IN TOP 3 REGIONS

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced 'CBSE Class 10th Result 2019' today on its official website. To everyone's surprise thirteen students have emerged as toppers after scoring 499 out of 500 marks in the Class 10 CBSE board exams while twenty-four students shared the second rank with 498 out of 500 marks, and 58 students came third with 497 marks.
According to NDTV reports, the total pass percentage in CBSE Class 10 exam is 91.1 per cent. Trivandrum with 99.85 per cent, Chennai with 99 per cent and Ajmer with 95.89 per cent are the top three regions where the pass percentage is highest. Apart from the official websites cbse.nic.in and cbseresutls.nic.in, the results can also be accessed from the search page of Google Search.
This year, the CBSE board had indicated that the results would be released earlier than previous years to facilitate higher education admissions, NDTV reports state. The CBSE has managed to release both the Class 10 and 12 results before ICSE, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Punjab and Maharashtra boards.
