Sushant Singh Rajput’s death probe has been on-going since June 14. After investigating the case from several angles, the Central Bureau of Investigation have said that there are no evidence which suggest that the late Bollywood star was murdered.
Three of the officers, who have taken part in the investigation and have questioned people who were related to the case admitted that so far, there seems to be no evidence to carry on with the hunch that Sushant could have been murdered. Hence, they seem to now be examining the suicide angle.
Starting to look at it from the suicide angle will help in seeing if there was an abetment to the suicide that was committed by the actor on June 14. However, the probe for murder has not been officially wrapped up yet. But according to the CBI officials even the forensic reports do not hint at homicide.
After the case was officially transferred into the hands of the CBI from the Mumbai Police, the CBI team had completely spent time in reconstructing the crime scene. The team was at Sushant’s Bandra home. However, no hunch was detected. Further, the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea and her family were also grilled.
The Enforcement Directorate on the other hand have been checking to see if money was laundered as Sushant Singh’s father had claimed that there were financial irregularities. Meanwhile the Narcotics Control Bureau has also been probing into the drugs angle after WhatsApp chats revealed the exchange of illegal drugs.
