SPEEDING CAR RUNS OVER MAN IN HYDERABAD

A 45-year-old man sleeping on the pavement was run over by a car in Hyderabad on Sunday night. The car was driven by Ishaniya Reddy, the daughter of a local inspector and her engineering friends. According to Ishaniya, she lost control trying to avoid hitting a dog on the road. However, the locals alleged that they were all in an intoxicated state. The police confirmed that Ishaniya was not inebriated with a breath analyser test.
The victim, Ashok Kumar was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. His son who was sleeping nearby escaped with minor injuries.
