The Lok Sabha elections were held across the country in 7 phases starting April 11. The vote counting is being held today on May 23.

Vote counting turned emotional as many dejected candidates went back sad and a Congressman got heartattack.

The man, who hails from Jalandhar, stood independently and sadly, got only 5 votes. When he was being interviewed, he broke down and started crying. But, he is not crying because he got only 5 votes. He is crying because he got 5 votes despite having 9 people in his own family. Yes, his own family members betrayed him and didn't vote for him!

MensXP reports, the man, while wiping his tears, blamed his family and accused the EVM machines of cheating in the voting process. But, a special award should be given to the reporter, who left no stone unturned to rub salt on the poor guy's wounds.

The reporter, despite knowing how he didn't get any support from his family, asked him, "When your own family doesn't support you, how can you expect outsiders to help you?" Well, the man is so disheartened with the results that he has decided that he will not run for elections again.
