Cabin attendant slapped by senior colleague on Air India flight

A young cabin attendant was slapped by her senior colleague on an Air India flight from New Delhi to Frankfurt on March 17  for serving non-vegetarian food to a vegetarian passenger, say reports. The passenger reportedly pointed out to the mistake, but did not file a complaint. The attendant was informed about her mistake and replaced the meal as well, sources reportedly said. However the senior colleague, a cabin supervisor, later took up the issue and even slapped her. While the junior attendant filed a complaint with Air India’s inflight service department over the incident, an Air India spokesperson said an internal probe has been launched, reports added.
