An 8-year-old died after being allegedly hit by a car in Uttar Pradesh minister’s convoy in Gonda district in Uttar Pradesh. A car from the UP-minister Om Prakash Rajbhar’s convoy allegedly ran over the boy on Saturday. The boy’s father reportedly said that his child died on the spot and an FIR has been filed. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh and directed the DGP to submit a detailed report and initiate strict action against those held responsible, reports say.
