Two days after amending new rules, a biker has been fined Rs.23000 for 5 offences. The strict traffic rules act came into force on September 1 which has revised some of the penalities by more than 4 times, reports Hindustan Times.

A Delhi man , Madan, in Gurugram was fined Rs.23000 for riding the bike without wearing a helmet, without license, Registration Certificate, third-party insurance, and pollution certificate.

On the first day, 39,000 drivers were fined for various offences. “As Madan was not wearing his helmet, he was stopped by the on-duty traffic personnel. He was unable to produce his documents, when asked. Hence, the challan was issue,” the traffic police officer at the location said.

He was fined Rs.1000 for not wearing a helmet, Rs.5000 for RC book and license each, Rs. 2000 for insurance and Rs.10000 for pollution certificate.
