HORRIFYING! MAN RAPES 12-YEAR-OLD GIRL, CRUSHES HEAD WITH STONE

In a shocking and distressing case, a 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped and murdered in Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal city. The police have currently taken the girl's teenage aunt and two other men known to her into custody as they are suspected to be involved in the crime.

According to NDTV reports, the incident took place on Tuesday evening when the girl was visiting a temple in the city's Manubhavan Tekri area with her 16-year-old aunt when the two men came up to her. Both the accused took the girl to an isolated area nearby and raped her, before smashing her head with stones. After the worried parents searched for the girl the whole night, the following day, her family filed a complaint with the police.

Soon after the complaint, both the men, who lived in the same neighbourhood as the girl, were arrested, along with her aunt. Police are waiting for a forensic report to find out how many people were involved in the crime, media reports added.

Several case of rape and murder have been reported in Madhya Pradesh so far. According to Puthiya Thalaimurai, Chennai has so far recorded 355 cases under POCSO act.
