The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation, under the order of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday reportedly removed Hindi signboards from the entrances of 3 Metro stations, namely KR Market, Chickpet and Kempegowda. This comes after Siddaramaiah wrote to the Centre asking for the removal of Hindi signboards from Bengaluru's metro station, following protests by pro-Kannada activists against the Centre's tri-language policy.
