A 39-year-old ambulance driver was reportedly arrested near Bengaluru's Town Hall on Saturday for driving under the influence of alcohol. According to reports, the accused, Ravi Kumar, working for Manasa Trinity Hospital had consumed alcohol after dropping off a patient. Ravi was arrested and booked under section 186 of Motor Vehicles Act (Drunken Driving). Police officials said that the ambulance drivers take advantage of the police's practice of not obstructing their movement.
