As many as 100 beggars in Hyderabad, Telangana are lending money to people at high rates of interest. According to the police, even if they are taken to rehabilitation homes, they come back and continue begging. Allegedly, the beggars get alms of Rs 5,000 to 10,000, which they lend it off so as to get it back within 24 hours. The money returned to the beggars are given along with an interest of Rs 500 to 1,000.
