Angry at being neglected by her husband, who spent a lot of time with his first wife, a woman cut his genitals in Dhubri town of Assam, on Saturday.

The victim, Sofiur Rahman, was shifted to Guwahati for treatment and is said to be in a critical state.

The woman Momina Khatun stated that she was upset as Rahman made her toil in the fields while spending a lot of time with his first wife.

The couple got married six months back.
