A recent audio clip containing rape convict and self-proclaimed godman Asaram Bapu talking to another person on the phone has been circulating on social media. Asaram could be heard saying that his jail days are ephemeral and that "good days will come."
Asaram was sentenced to serve a life term at the Jodhpur Central jail last week for raping a teenage girl five years ago. Reportedly, he made the call to a 'sadhak' in his ashram with the permission of the jail authorities.
