The famous journalist Arnab Goswami is making news with his regular dose of snubbing an opposite person. His recent behaviour as a journalist has been thrashed by noted personalities and commoners on the internet.

The Republic Tv journalist made a phone call to the press conference that had popular actress cum filmmaker, Aparna Sen and tried to bring her down with his series of questions. However, at one point he had to face the likes of a popular Tamil cinema scene in which actor Vaidvelu had to disconnect the telephone wire out of anger, but Arnab did it with a mocking smile.

On July 23 a set of filmmakers, artists, social activists and medial specialists signed a letter to the prime minister of India, Narendra Modi seeking justice for the increasing hate crimes against Dalits and other minorities in India. Issues related to “intolerance” such as “brutally beating a human for not saying ‘Jai Shri Ram’ “ was also included in the letter to the PM. The signatories include Anurag Kashyap, Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Mani Ratnam and Aparna Sen to name a few from the film fraternity.

On July 24 (Wednesday), Arnab Goswami conducted a prime time debate which also had BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra among other panellists. Just before beginning the discussion, Arnab showed the live streaming of the press conference which had Aparna Sen addressing the media regarding the letter to PM Modi.

The video shows a split-screen where Arnab is seen raising his voice with an abnormally high tone over his phone. While he continues to shoot questions one after the other, Sen rejected him and in one of her dashing replies she tracked down Arnab as he is not a “non-partisan journalist” according to the reports.
