Shocking visuals of a 6-year-old boy electrocuted to death in Hyderabad went viral recently. The incident reportedly took place in the posh residential locality of Hyderabad's Narsingi area.
The boy was playing in the area at around 6.15 pm on Monday when he playfully touched a lamp post. Reportedly, the boy touched a live wire on the post and received a massive shock. Due to the electricity passing, the boy remained stuck to the post for a few minutes. Sadly, nobody passing by were even aware of what was happening.
After a few minutes, the boy fell down, following which a child noticed him and alerted others. The people in the flat allegedly tried Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on him but the child had already died. The boy was later taken to a hospital where he was declared brought dead. A case has also been registered under Section 304A (Death due to negligence) of the IPC.
