11 PEOPLE KILLED AFTER TRUCK RAMS VAN IN MULTIPLE VEHICLE CRASH

In a sad and shocking case, at least 11 people were killed in a crash involving a truck, a van and a motorcycle on the Chittoor-Bengaluru highway near Tirupati on Friday night.

Among the 11 people, most of them were women who were killed in the crash. 

According to the police, the truck which was carrying drinking water bottles, crashed into a road divider and speeded to the other side of the road after which it rammed into a van and a motorcycle near Bangarupalem in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.

After initial investigations, the police revealed, the accident might have taken place after the truck driver lost control of the vehicle. 

The police have currently removed the 11 crushed bodies from the site and sent them to a nearby hospital for postmortem.
