According to reports, seven workers of a private hatchery in Chitoor, Andhra Pradesh died due to asphyxiation after getting stuck inside a drain. Residents of the nearby village attempted to rescue the men. Police say that four workers died on the spot and three others passed away while undergoing treatment. The police have launched a manhunt for the manager of the hatchery who is currently absconding.
