In a shocking incident in Aligarh, students and teachers of a government primary and upper primary school were forced to stay outside the school after the locals herded cattle inside the building.
The incident took place on Wednesday when locals of the area gathered the stray cows and bulls nearby and locked them up inside the school. The villagers reportedly took the decision as no action was taken against by the government to deal with the stray cattle.
Cows and bulls often destroyed crops. The villagers even requested for cattle shelters but their words were not heeded. Around 800 cows and bulls were herded inside the school as a sign of protest. The school had to remain shut for students for two days now.
