The central government on Tuesday informed the Parliamentary panel that aircraft carrier Air India's current business is not sustainable as it is neither able to generate enough cash flow nor start repaying even the principal amount of its debt. Meanwhile, Tata Group, IndiGo, and private equity funds KKR and Warburg Pincus have expressed interest in acquiring Air India's businesses following the cabinet's approval for its disinvestment.
