AHEAD OF FLOOR TEST, BJP MEMBER APPOINTED AS SPEAKER FOR K’NATAKA ASSEMBLY

Ahead of the most awaited floor test in Karnataka to decide on the Yeddyurappa's government, the Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala has appointed BJP lawmaker KG Bopaiah as pro-tem speaker.
The BS Yeddyurappa-led BJP government in Karnataka has been asked by the Supreme Court on Friday to take floor test tomorrow at 4:00 pm.
This comes after hearing the petition filed by Congress- Janata Dal Secular (JDS) challenging Karnataka Governor's invitation to the BJP's BS Yeddyurappa to become Chief Minister. The Congress and the JDS in Karnataka moved their lawmakers from Bengaluru to Hyderabad.
