According to data released by the National Health Survey of India, 0.30% of males in the age group of 15-24 were found to be HIV positive, which is the highest among all age groups. The data for Gujarat, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli reveals that 0.19% of men in the age group of 15-49 were HIV positive and the percentage of affected women in the same age group was 0.18%. The data also reveals that in the age group of 15-54, the number increased to 0.24%.
