AFTER UAE, SAUDI BANS PRODUCTS FROM KERALA OVER NIPAH SCARE

It wasn't long ago when the United Arab Emirates (UAE) banned products from Kerala fearing a Nipah outbreak.
Following in the footsteps, Saudi Arabia has banned frozen and processed fruit and vegetable imports from Kerala amid concerns over the deadly Nipah virus outbreak.
About 100 tonnes of fruit, vegetables and fresh produce that was to be imported from Kerala was prohibited from entry in the UAE.
