AFTER TN, NOW PUDUCHERRY FILES CONTEMPT PROCEEDINGS AGAINST CENTRE

According to reports, Puducherry government has filed contempt proceedings in the Supreme Court against the Centre for not implementing the top court’s order to constitute the Cauvery Management Board within six weeks. Reports suggest that a petition has been filed in the apex court on behalf of government whip R K R Anantharaman.
