After Indian skipper Sunil Chhetri's emotional plea seeking support from fans, tickets for India's second Intercontinental Cup football game against Kenya was sold out.
In his video message that went viral, the captain said: "Abuse us, criticise us but please come to watch the Indian national team play."
Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and former players Sachin Tendulkar and Anil Kumble were quick on their feet and urged fans to support the game.
