TENTATIVE DATES SPECULATED FOR DEATH SENTENCE OF NIRBHAYA RAPE CRIMINALS

On December 16 2012, the brutal rape and murder of the 23-Year-Old Delhi paramedic student Nirbhaya alarmed the people around the World. The investigations led to the arrest of 6 suspects Pawan Gupta, Akshay Kumar Singh, Mukesh Singh Vinay Sharma, Ram Singh and a minor.  While the minor was sent to Juvenile, Ram Singh committed suicide during the trial in Tihar Jail.

The other 4 suspects who were convicted by the court are now in Tihar Jail in Delhi.  One of the suspects, Pawan Gupta was recently transferred from Mandoli Jail to Tihar Jail on Saturday night.

Strong speculations are doing rounds saying that all the 4 convicts are likely to be hanged to death within the end of this year- probably next week. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar filed a petition at the Supreme court under "Criminal Review Petition" seeking mercy from the death sentence against him. On the other side, the sources reveal that Tihar Jail authorities have approached other prisons in the country to provide them with a hangman.

After the encounter of 4 suspects in the Hyderabad veterinary doctor rape and murder case, other pending cases such as Nirbhaya case and Pollachi rape scandal have come into the light. We would have to wait and see what unfolds in the near future over these cases.
