Bengaluru: Phase 2 elections was held on April 18 and Tamil Nadu voted on that day. Karnataka and Bengaluru are all set to vote during the Phase 3 elections. Lok Sabha campaign and money distribution is on fire due to the last minute urgency.
Initially, sources reported that they used rotis/chapathis to distribute money. Now, Income Tax officials have ceased money in a car’s Stepney (spare) tyre. With reference to the information they received, the officials raided in Karnataka’s Bengaluru and ceased money.
Over all, in 2000 rupee note denomination, they have ceased 2.3 crores from the tyre. As there were no proper documentation, the money was ceased by the officials. Video footage has been released by ANI.
Officials have also ceased money in Karnataka-Goa border. Money distribution is seen widely in the nation due to the Lok Sabha elections. The election is to be held in 7 phases and the votes will be counted on May 23.
