Two weeks after 11 members of a family were found dead at a house in Delhi’s Burari area, six members of a family were found dead at Hazaribagh in Jharkhand on Saturday. The family had a debt of Rs 50 lakh, one of the three suicide notes found at their home reportedly said.
Reportedly, two bodies were found hanging and two with their throats slit. A third person probably jumped from the roof of the apartment and a baby was allegedly poisoned, say reports. In one of the notes, it was written that they pushed their son off the terrace as they couldn't hang him, police reportedly said.
Police said that the deceased include a man named Naresh Maheswari, his parents, his wife and their two children. Police further reportedly added that a probe is carried out from both suicide and murder angles.
