AFSPA REVOKED FROM MEGHALAYA, 8 POLICE STATIONS IN ARUNACHAL PRADESH

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) has reportedly been withdrawn from Meghalaya. In Arunachal Pradesh, the operation has reportedly been restricted to eight police stations.
Out of the eight Northeast states, AFSPA is now applicable in Nagaland, Manipur, Assam and parts of Arunachal Pradesh.
