In a horrific incident, a 6-month-old baby in Kolkata was reportedly injected with acid in eye when the baby’s mother was asleep. The mother alleged that her mother-in-law, with the help of the baby’s uncle committed the crime. However, police have dismissed the allegation saying that the mother-in-law needs crutches to walk. The cops have reportedly suspected the baby’s father as his criminal records are worse and he is untraceable. Doctors reportedly said that the baby’s left eye has become dysfunctional and that the right eye has also been affected and the baby is battling for life.
