The Central government reportedly told the Supreme Court that it is likely to extend the deadline for linking Aadhaar to schemes beyond the currently announced deadline. Earlier, the deadline for mandatory linking of Aadhaar to avail various government schemes, mobile phones and bank accounts was March 31.
