The prohibition and excise department of Telangana government reportedly made Aadhaar cards mandatory to gain entry into pubs in Hyderabad. The step is an attempt to check entry of minors at pubs where they are often served alcohol. Those under 21 years of age will reportedly not be allowed to enter the pubs.
